Silence is Criminal

They just don't get it. The U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops is meeting next week, but it won't be discussing the case of a bishop that two months ago was the first to be found guilty of covering up a priest who dabbled in child pornography. So, in typical Catholic-Church fashion, they won't talk about it, sort of pretending that it never happened. The convicted bishop, by the way, will be in attendance, given the fact that he was granted probation.

In light of things like this, why anyone would have any respect for the Church hierarchy is beyond me.
