Europe Does It Better

The U.S. commercial deficit grew 7.1% in June, up to $43.8 billion, mostly due to an increase in imports from the European Union. Why am I not surprised? As a frequent traveler to Europe, where my wife and I have spent weeks at a time, we have been able to appreciate the overall quality and superior workmanship of European products.

Evidently, we are not alone in that appreciation.
