More Dirt from the «Dirty War»

To all those who wish to let bygones be bygones, the news of "blacklists" of Argentine artists and intellectuals by the 1976-1983 dictatorship is an inconvenient truth. Of course, those who hate the Left or anything that resembles liberalism, having people like Aleandro, Cortázar and Sosa blacklisted is no big deal. But, to the rest of the world, it shows how mean-spirited and petty Fascism is. How, in the name of fighting "communism" or "socialism", those who would save the Fatherland end up impoverishing it in all kind of ways, including culturally, by persecuting its great artists and thinkers.

They don't realize that "witch hunts" always come back to haunt them.
