Damning Testimony

As I said day before yesterday, Guantánamo is a moral quagmire for the U.S.  A former chief prosecutor there has said that there is no justification for having the detention center. There never was one. In fact, he resigned his post there because he  would not use "evidence" obtained by torture, including waterboarding. He has also confirmed much of what the former detainee who has published a book about his experience there has revealed.

People of conscience continue to denounce Guantánamo, but American arrogance pays no mind to it.
