Corruption Galore

It should come as no surprise that corruption is a major problem all around the globe. Very few societies have very little of it; most have some or a lot. It's part of the human condition, made worse by the undue emphasis on material things that affects people increasingly in the modern era. According to Transparency International, the biggest problems are in Africa, but even in the U.S., where only 5% to 10% of its citizens admit having bribed a government official, that's 15 to 30 million people. Nothing to be unconcerned about.

Let's all take note.
