The New Owners

We already knew that China "owns" the U.S. because the U.S. owes China big time. Now, not only are the Chinese the Americans' biggest creditors, but also, they have begun to buy up properties in the U.S., some prime real estate in New York City, for example. That move is much more than just a business deal; it's a statement about Chinese economic power and status in the world, and the decline of the U.S. as number one on the board of major players in the international capitalist game.

The Chinese have come to stake their claim on the U.S.
